In the wake of the brutal murder of George Floyd and by the savagery and inhumane hand of the Minneapolis Police Force, we cant help but ask ourselves, why has nothing changed? Well, we are here to tell you that the reasons are superfluous and that true change will require the inspection, rethinking, and the breaking down of the various institutions that uphold the matrix of domination that has worked to subjugate, enslave, imprison, and wipe out black communities in America. We chose to take a stance against fake news and fake media in a time where the public has relied these tools for our understanding of the world around us. The news has been one of the many weapons used against the people in pursuit of eroding the democracy we were promised by a constitution which still fails to provide life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for its subjects.
